PBR Opens 2011 Tour In The Big Apple!

Here come the top 40 bull riders in the world, fans!  2010 World Champion Renato Nunes, 2010 reserve champion Austin Meier, and last year’s Madison Square Garden Invitational winner Shane Proctor – will take on the fiercest bucking bulls in the business for three days only. Also expected to compete in this huge New York PBR opener are North Carolina superstar J.B. Mauney, two-time World Champion Chris Shivers, and Brazilian phenom Guilherme Marchi, along with fan favorite Ryan Dirteater.  This will be an opener you shouldn't miss.

Last years PBR tour was amazing and came down to the wire.  Never has there been a closer race to the championship, and the fans showed up in droves to see every show along this crazy ride.  This year shouldn't be any different.  It will be one exciting race to the finish, and Bad Boy's Austin Meier should be right there at the top again.

Competition begins at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, 7:50 p.m. on Saturday, and 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.  If you aren't lucky enough to attend the event, be sure and tune in to The VS Channel to catch all the broadcasting of the nightly events.
