MLB players & agents visit Bad Boy

 

Bad Boy Mowers invited several Major League Baseball players and agents to visit and tour the campus in October.

Ian Kinsler is a 2008 Major League Baseball All-Star 2nd baseman and the current 2nd baseman for the Texas Rangers.  Ian was drafted in the 17th round in 2003 as shortstop.  He is known for his good speed, good agility, and 5-tool player.  In 2008 Ian was 4th in batting average in the American League with .319.

Mark Lowe is a current Major League relieve pitcher for the Seattle Mariners.  His Major League debut was on July 7, 2006 against the Detroit Tigers.  Mark bats left-handed and throws right-handed.  His fastball has been clocked as high as 101 mph.

Jeff Frye is a certified MLB Player Rep.  He is a former Major League 2nd baseman with the Texas Rangers, Boston Red Sox, Colorado Rockies, and Toronto Blue Jays.   Jeff was drafted in the 30th round of the 1988 amateur draft and debuted with the Texas Rangers on July 9, 1992 over the Cleveland Indians.  His final big league appearance was on September 20, 2001, with a career batting average of .290. 

Jay Franklin is a certified MLB Player Rep.  He is a former Major League pitcher with the Texas Rangers, Chicago Cubs, and Chinese Professional Baseball League.  Jay was a 7th round draft pick in 1989 by the Texas Rangers.  His MLB pitching career was from 1989 until 1998.  Jay and Jeff are partners in Franklin Frye & McCann (www.fnfsport.com).

Right-handed pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, Ryan Franklin, visited Bad Boy, Inc. with his family.  Ryan played for the Seattle Mariners from 1993-2006 when he was signed by the Philadelphia Phillies.  Later that year he traded to the Cincinnati Reds.  In 2007 Ryan signed with the St. Louis Cardinals.  Ryan is an owner of and an endorser for Bad Boy Mowers.
