Bad Boy, Inc. is proud to announce that George, The Possum, Jones is the newest member of the Bad Boy family.
The Legendary Possum is not only an endorser, but also became an owner when he was presented a 60” 35hp Diesel Bad Boy Mower by Bad Boy Mowers representatives Lennie Foree and Megan Bridgeman on May 28th 2009.
The Possum, born in Saratoga Texas in 1931, sang for tips on the streets of Beaumont, TX as a kid. Jones got his start in country music in 1954 and never has looked back. He, undoubtedly, set the standard for modern country music. He currently lives in Franklin Tennessee and is still singing and touring at the age of 77. The Possum has 14 Number One hits, including White Lightning (1959), He stop Loving Her Today (1980), and Yesterday’s Wine, with Merle Haggard, (1982). He also has several Number One hits with Tammy Wynette. The Possum was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1992. In 2003, Jones was awarded the 2002 Metal of Arts, the nation’s highest honor for artistic excellence, from President George W. Bush. Jones celebrated his 50th anniversary as a recording artist in 2004.
Bad Boy, Inc. is proud to have the Possum as a part of our growing family. |
