Willie Nelson’s Video World Premiere Features A-List Celebs and Bad Boy Mowers
Batesville, Arkansas—(February 7, 2008)—Bad Boy Mowers has announced that their high performance zero-turn riding mowers have been cast to play a major role in Willie Nelson’s soon to be released music video, “You Don’t Think I’m Funny Any More.” This new hit from Nelson’s latest album Moment of Forever is quickly climbing the charts. The association between Nelson and Bad Boy Mowers came about quite simply—Nelson says, “When I received my first Bad Boy Mower, “I immediately fell in love with this product and wanted to meet the folks from Arkansas that make these things. You can’t believe how much fun they are to ride.” Soon after meeting them a friendship formed that led to Willie’s video idea.
A music video featuring movie stars and mowers—the First Annual Bad Boy Mower Race.
The video is set in Luck, Texas, a small Western town that Nelson built around his ranch for the 1975 blockbuster, Red Headed Stranger. Along with Nelson, the video features such “A-Listers” as Jessica Simpson, Woody Harrelson, Owen and Luke Wilson, Country Music legend Ray Price and former CBS news anchor Dan Rather. In the video Willie wagers his star-studded pals $10,000 that Jessica Simpson could win a mower race against the men. You’ll have to watch the video to see who wins. The World Premier is due out in late February. MTV’s Johnny Knoxville is hosting a special 30 minute, behind the scenes, making of the music video that culminates with the premier of “You Don’t Think I’m Funny Any More.”
In 1998, Bad Boy Mowers set out to build a no-nonsense, better mower at a better price and in 10 years has become the fastest growing zero-turn riding mower company in the nation. Bad Boy Mowers are now manufactured, assembled, and stored in multiple facilities comprising over 300,000 square feet in Batesville, Arkansas and are sold in over 1,000 retail outlets across the nation.
