Bad Boy Legend Car Places at Lowe's Motor Speedway

The 2009 Summer Shootout Series kicked off at Lowe's Motor Speedway yesterday evening.  The weather was able to hold off all night, and allowed the racers to put on a great show for the spectators.

Dusty Summers drove the Bad Boy Legend Car and won his heat race and finished fifth in the feature during the first week of the Summer Shootout Series. The series runs for 10 weeks. Dusty is the son of Holly and Tony Summers of Eastern Truck Equipment, our dealer in Boonesboro, MD. 

Dusty ran the 1st summer shootout Thursday night, June 11^th at Lowes Motor Speedway. Dusty won his heat race and got a solid 5th place out of 28 in the feature. The officials time the races, and naturally wreck after wreck in the back, cost Dusty time.  He only got 8 laps in of the 20.
