Bad Boy, Inc. presents Ryan Franklin with MTV

On Tuesday, May 19, Bad Boy, Inc. visited Busch Stadium, home of the St. Louis Cardinal’s baseball team.  Tuesday was the opening game of the Chicago Cubs Series at Busch Stadium. 

Bad Boy, Inc.’s Lennie Foree and Kevin Johnson drove a new Bad Boy MTV onto the baseball field just before the National Anthem was sung.  The game announcer introduced Bad Boy, Inc. as friends of Ryan Franklin, St. Louis Cardinal pitcher.  Bad Boy, Inc. then presented Franklin with the keys to his new Bad Boy MTV, and Foree was honored to throw Franklin his first pitch of the evening.

Bad Boy, Inc. representatives were treated with great hospitality by Busch Stadium and St. Louis Cardinal team members.  Representatives also had reserved seating behind the St. Louis Cardinal dugout and were granted photo opportunities with the Cardinal’s team.  One Bad Boy, Inc. representative said, “It was one of those moments where I had to pinch myself and say, ‘Am I REALLY here?’”

Franklin is an owner and endorser for Bad Boy Mowers.  Franklin was born in Fort Smith, AR, but was raised in Oklahoma.  He graduated high school in 1991 from Spiro High School in Spiro, OK where he was All-State in baseball.  Franklin attended Seminole Junior College in Seminole, OK.  He was drafted in the 23^rd round by the Seattle Mariners after the 1992 collegiate season, but returned to school to pitch before signing in 1993.  In 1993 Ryan was named Junior College All-American.

Franklin played for the Seattle Mariners from 1993-2006 when he was signed by the Philadelphia Phillies.  Later that year he traded to the Cincinnati Reds.  In 2007 Franklin signed with the St. Louis Cardinals.  2009 is Franklin’s 9^th MLB season.
