Bad Boy, Inc. Congratulates Ian Kinsler

Bad Boy, Inc. congratulates Ian Kinsler on becoming the fourth player in the Texas Ranger’s team history to hit for the cycle and only the second player in the team’s history with 6 hits in a game.  Kinsler hit 6-for-6, including four RBI and a stolen base, in the Ranger’s 19-6 win in Baltimore.

"I knew I had an opportunity to hit for the cycle walking up for my at-bat in the sixth," Kinsler said.   Kinsler led off the first inning with a double, hit his third home run of the season in the third inning and then had two singles in the Rangers' eight-run fourth inning. Kinsler’s triple into the right-center gap during the sixth inning made him the fourth player in team history to hit for the cycle.  "When I hit that ball, I was just hoping for it to get over his head and then when it got over his head, I was hoping for it to rattle around. I wasn't going to stop at second regardless of if he came up with it clean. I was going to give it a shot."

"Honestly, it's more special on Jackie Robinson Day. He's a guy that could do everything in the game. He could hit triples, home runs, steal bases, drive people in, score runs. He could do everything offensively. It was kind of a weird thing that I'm playing second on Jackie Robinson Day and that happens."

"My first at-bat, all I was thinking was to get us back in the game somehow. To score a run somehow. After that, you play the game. You're not really thinking about the cycle. You're thinking about winning. It kind of works out that way. "

Congratulations, Ian!
