DJ Taylor of KSSN 96 FM Country station out of Little Rock, Ark. talked to 16 year old Brittany Quaranto country singer from Nashville, Tenn. yesterday while she gets geared up for Riverfest this Memorial Day weekend (May 23, 24, & 25, 2008) in downtown Little Rock / North Little Rock, AR. In the interview Brittany showed off her talent for DJ Taylor with her song “Angel” which can be downloaded for FREE at www.brittq.com. Brittany has certainly been busy this week. She has not only stopped by the radio station, but Channel 7 news as well.
Brittany works with hit songwriter Mark Alan Springer (Two Sparrows In A Hurricane, Thank God For Believers, That’s Why I’m Here, One Boy, One Girl) and has inked a publishing deal with his company, Masville Music. Brittany has spends most of her time co-writing and being in the studio getting ready to record her debut album.
Make sure to make it out to Riverfest tonight to see Brittany Quaranto make Bad Boy Mowers proud live on the Budweiser stage in North Little Rock at 6:15 pm where she will be opening for Shooter Jennings and Sawyer Brown. Brittany will also be present to sign autographs throughout the weekend at the Bad Boy Mowers tent. Riverfest is Arkansas' largest and most popular music, arts and food festival with over 245,000 people in attendance. Tickets purchased at the gate and online through the Riverfest website are $20. The $20 admission price includes all three days and all performances. The $20 tickets are good for all three days for people 7 and up. Children 6 and under get in free. Children ages 7-10 will be admitted for a daily price of $5 at the gate. Riverfest hours for May 23-25th will be 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
