2011 Brings A New, Stronger Austin Meier.

2011 brings on a new, stronger Austin Meier to the professional bullriding circuit.  After tasting the top all the way to the end of 2010's World Finals, Bad Boy's Meier is still hungry and is showing it to start this season's Built Ford Tough campaign.  Austin Meier was one of the hardest working and most enjoyable riders on the tour last season, and it was all due to heart.  That heart hasn't faded a bit.  As anyone that follows professional bullriding knows, it's hard to get to the top and maintain it.  You just have to hang around at the top of the ranks and then make your move.  This season won't be any different.  You'll see the jockeying for No.1, and you'll see it come down to the World Finals once again.

Just two events into a long season ahead, Austin Meier is doing his thing and sitting in the standings current top 10.  He'll slowly begin digging his feet in for another predicted climb into the elite ranks soon.  Bad Boy's Austin Meier spent the majority of 2010 in a dominating position, hanging out in the top 5 until he eventually topped them all.  He holds the record for the most events won in a single season, and this is a record he accomplished during his amazing 2010 season.  Everyone, including Austin, is expecting more of the same this year.  Top 10 is always a good spot, but for someone like Austin Meier, it's just somewhere to leap from and not to stay.  You visit the top 10, you don't make it your home.
