OH WOW, Just experienced the mowing O for the first time. The 27hp 60" ZT gave me an out of body experience, the only problem was it didnt last long.... This is how the story goes... I am on my way(45mins to the place)to pick up and sign contract for 0%/48months on a 27hp 60" zt that i had made a deal on that morning (it was an orange color with a roll bar) from an equipment dealer when I decided to stop in and make a purchase at thier local Tractor Supply Co, outside I see one of them BadBoy ZT that i had read and heard about(but had yet to actually see one) with the same horsepower and 60" deck as brand K. after comparing the 2; I told the sales associate at TSC to load it on my trailer(because I had never operated a ZT before)...it was an easy phone call to the salesman at equipment shop to let him know that I would not be taking delivery on that mower i had planned to pick up 30 mins ago because I just saved $3600 and got a zt that I felt was better made, and the only thing that was missing was a roll bar. This BadBoy sold itself to a person who is knowledgable of equipment and grew up on tractors. Keep It Simple Stupid(K.I.S.S.)-great job guys! I think I may start a lawn service now and I used to hate to mow, now I look for an excuse to crank the BadBoy, I even mowed some paths in my pasture just to see how tough it was...It passed!! Wow- I got to go mow, see ya!

I want one sooooo...bad!!! Can't afforded.
Maybe one day! They are awsome machines, test drove one last year and fell in love. I tell everyone about them because my friends have never heard of Bad Boy mowers.I tell them its like riding a recliner on wheels at the same time cutting grass. These machines will do some cutting!

Bought a bad boy lightning with the 26hp kawasaki. Cuts like a champ. There is no reason to buy a stripe kit. Also the thing is built like a tank.

Hello Bad Boy:
I bought my 6000-ZT one year ago this month, I've had no issues with it so far. It cuts great and reduced my time cutting but increased my fun. Comparably the the price was good also.
One issue right now, I'm looking for a striping kit and would sure appreciate a time frame as to when that could be a reality. Thanks, Hope ya'll have a great year. Ron in O-H-I-O !!

After several years of waiting i finally got my Bad Boy yesterday. I purchased the Lightening Z with a 60" deck and a 31hp Kawasaki from House of Cycles in West Monroe, LA. What a brute of a machine! I love it and the suspension on the lightening is worth every penny. A friend that has been using a Dixie Chopper drove it today and he could immediately tell the ride of the Bad Boy was better.

One of my favorite features of the Bad Boy is that everything is easy to reach for cleaning and maintenance purposes.

There are a few problems with the Bad Boy though. The first is that most of your neighbors will have inferiority issues. The second problem is that i spent $120.00 on fertilizer today so i can get the grass to grow faster.

Thanks to the staff at House of Cycles for the great assistance in making my purchase and thanks to Bad Boy for making a superior product.

My brother and I mow commercially, we're in high school and do this as summer employment. My family has run John Deere, Gravely Commercial and Kubota. My dad and I stopped by Sprindale Tractor, Springdale,AR and just happened to see the Bad Boys, he was going to buy another Gravely. We bought a Lightining Z 60" 26hp water cooled Kawasaki and that was two years ago, we have used it too commercially for two years and have had no issues, last week we bought our second Bad Boy at Springdale Tractor, a 35hp CAT AOS 60", what great mowers. We just level our decks upon delivery with a digital level and then tilt them 1.5 degrees forward slope. We have cut beside all the "blue blood" brands costing thousands more for the same quality mower. We love our Bad Boys and will cut side by side with any other brand out there! Best of luck in 2010, we're having a record year contracting so far.
